Small Costus 1

This one will stay small. You can kind of see the spiral of how the cane grows. Not sure if this one has the flowers at the top or the bottom. I'm going to keep it potted for a while.

This is a very healthy and green Costus...I can't wait to see the flowers!
I wish my Costus looked so healthy...most species brown tip here because of our hard water. I had a dwarf Costus once, it was dead in 2 month because of the water. The only species I can grow with success is Costus barbatus...which has large red-bracts and yellow tubular flowers.
