No it's not but I would like to get one. I can't find it in Hilliers Dictionary of Trees and Shrubs or RHS Gardeners' Encyclopedia. (that doesn't mean it's not in there, I just can't see it.)

Strange - when I saw the berries, I thought 'Elder' but I've never seen an Elder with a prickly trunk!

It's beautiful in spring too with huge panicles of creamy-white flowers
