These look similar to the shrimp plant, but yellow.

Pachystachy lutea, seems the season. I was just looking at Marguerite's in Australia, where I found the name. Really neat flower.

I used to grow these and bring them in during the winter, but white flies absolutely love them, so I finally gave them up. This photo is making me want to try them again though, they are so pretty and unique.

They grow here a lot as well, nice picture Arlene!
