Ruellia species - Ruellia

This Ruellia is not common at all...I had the original plant for 12 years and it died last year...however, it does sprout up in parts of my yard now.

Yes, it's evergreen...this plant is about two years old...however, they don't grow large, only about 1 ft. tall.
