thanks Jac, i am really pleased with the progress, it is working out better than expected, the problem i had with this garden is that it is so long and thin, with ugly odd fences on both sides, i think the trellis takes the eye away from the boundrys and adds a bit of dimention to the garden, - you can't see everything all at once. the back area is next on the hit list for a bit of trellis, i also need to add some sort of destination at the far end,- the area which i am standing while taking this pic. i am thinking maybe a water feacher of some sort or a bench/seating area,- depending on space, have'nt decided yet, want to get the trellis across the back and see what strikes me. can't wait to see how it looks in summer. and yes Jac i would say go for it, i wanted an encharnted cottage theme and i think in a few years once everything gets going the trellis will defo contribute towards that feel.

I really like the trellis idea too, good way of getting a bit of height in the garden to add more interest. Might have to look into this next year!
