Thanks Spritz, i am in the process of tucking it all up for winter, i still have lots of leaves falling, and i am running a bit behind this year because of my revamp in the woodland bed. but i am getting there, still lots of mulching and tidying up to do, hopefully will have it all done by next weekend - weather permitting of course! i have got 6 bin bags full of autumn leaves, my next door neighbour kindly donated some as well. which i intend to make into leaf mould, have you ever done it before? it's my first time, would normally put them into my composters but both are full and not ready to use as yet, so all i have done is put them into black bags with a bit of soil from the garden and some worms, and pricked holes in them and put them up behind the composter, do you think it will work?

Yes, as long as you keep them moist. Be aware that it can take up to 18 months or even longer, though!

So have you put your garden to bed yet, Angie? Luckily for me, in view of our cow invasion, I have - except for the ash leaves that are still falling.
I think those trellises were an absolute brainwave!
