i took this on a very clean wall up north in skelmersdale .talk about hard.the wall is in great condition apart from this bit wear a little bit of morter was wasnt done properly.i guess it doesnt matter what kind of plant it is but its got to be said its lucky and its realy tuff.this in a town about 4` of the floor above a path to some flats with just some grass round it.be mad to take a housing estate .make all the people move out and let nature take over with out even setting foot on it.perhaps take a picture every year.could it be a wall flower or a wall nut lol

It looks loke a harts tongue fern. I had them growing out of a wall in my previous garden. They're very tough.

Ive got a couple of these that have appeared this year in the wall and by some steps.
Typical ferns can be awkward to propagate, they usually need sterile compost and care. Yet if they want to grow they will.
I'm over the moon they have started growing where they like. Very natural.
