I see your fence is painted green - did you get that idea from me? ;-)

LOL fraid not andrew, it's not my fence, to be honest i would have painted it brown, and i did try to persued John next door that brown would look better when he put it up last year, but he was having none of it! but now that i have got used to it, it has grown on me - forgive the pun! it's more obvious at the mo, as i have just cut all my climbers back, but when they get going again next year, the fence dose seem to just blend into the background being green, so far better than the brown me thinks.

Lucky that you have a neighbour who puts up a strong fence - whatever the colour.
I've re-fenced more than my fair share in both back and front gardens.
Can't afford to do any more of the parts which are not my responsibility.
Why am I the only person in the whole road who has a neighbour letting his fences literally fall over and disintegrate ? I get very envious of all the other neighbours who have strong fences. I put up trellises, but I cannot make a pretty garden with horrible 6 ft high fences falling down next door. :o(

We don't own any of the fences - and that's a problem, too! We've offered to go halves with one neighbour but he says it isn't a priority. The fence is only 3 foot high and is slatted - there are gaps between every upright. It's falling down now. Perhaps we should get a puppy so that it would tunnel through and cause a nuisance!
