You're welcome Hywel.
Janette- I'm not sure, because I never saw Greenthumbs plant. I looked 'sea onion' up on the internet and it looked like the plant I used to have. I called mine an onion plant, because that's what it looked like. I got rid of mine because they multiplied like crazy and were sprouting up in all my other plants. They do have a lovely flower spike though :)

Yes Tastey they do have a lovely flower head ,it might not take long for Greenthumb,s to grow a new head if they sprout so easily :)

Wonderful. This is exactly it! Many names for this it seems. Great shot of the flower. It hasn't hopped into any my plants yet. :-) Did you know its used mainly as a medicine for frequent urge? lol. A little more edumacating....lol

Oh, Greenthumb I nearly choked on my toast while I was reading your comment, lol. That was good! I don't usually see edumacate coming back at me ;~) My name for the plant was one that I made up. Ornithogalum caudatum False Sea Onion Liliaceae, is a name I found for it, 'Pregnant Onion' yet another name. I'm assuming that you're talking about urination, in regards to 'frequent urge' and not murder, lol :)

lol, yes. And the plants for that purpose is a look alike. Urginea maritima. I would guess that ornithogalum is probably the houseplant variety that i have got, rather Urginea as I previously thought. I'll look it up.
Glad to bring in a laugh. :-)
