hummm the bulbs are in the ground tho Hywel :o)
these are the leaves, from each set of 9 leaves comes up on a pseudostem....
The pseudostem is sturdy and fleshy with a diameter of up to 25 mm, and is usually purple spotted but can be plain and almost white.
These ones came up purple spotted.
