Proud Papa- Great shot and and interesting as you said. Isn't it unusual that they flower, especially indoors?

I wouldn't have guessed it would flower. It's very welcome. It bloomed on new shoots after a hard cut. My full spectrum light helps alot of my plants along. :-) I'm glad its happy enough for this. Thank you.

Thank you all! It only shows for a day before that shell closes over again. Greenthumb here means the same, I was wondering about the greenfingers comments. lol. I thought it apt for the guy with the greenhouse light pouring out his windows. lol.

This is very impressive! Generally most Philodendron species only bloom well when they are grown outside in the ground! You truly have a green thumb!

Thanks Delonix! It has a new buds forming now. My greatgrandmothers always bloomed for her and I have long had a desire to get blooms myself. This didn't take much prodding, just been going since fall. It did start up on new growth after cutting.
