Sandra, at first I hoped that this was down in black and white, but I think if simply the time of day.

I am recovering some of my old box Agfa, Roleflex pictures. All were in black and white. On one was a group of my beach pictures. I think I took a whole role of B and W. Cam't find it.

I hope you re-edit the caption. "fresh west beach" As an outsider, I would like to know where this beach is. My own should be, a beach west of P.A. WA.

this photo and the next were taken within minuets of eachother. it was windy and the clouds were fast. i love the changing weather on the coast.

I think there must be something extra nice about being West-coasters.

Two photos, I would have died for. We have a phenomenon called a green-flash. Just as the sun is setting over the water, the red turns to a flash of green just as it descends. I saw that once in Neah Bay. Have you ever heard of that?

My second is even more spooky. Looking out over the straight of San Jan de Fuca we look at Victoria and Vancouver Island. On this day we SAW, huge glimmering white skyscrapers reaching high into the skyline.

I wasn't eating any brown mushrooms either! At the time I was working for a B&B, right on the cliffs. Not only I, but the owner and many of the vacationers saw it as well. It lasted only a while and I really don't know if any one took a picture.

My friend Wayne lives high above me and has lived here since the 50's. One day he is coming down the road (facing the straits) and sees this huge Island smack between Vancouver Island and us. One time in his life.

Either we had a glimpse of something else, OR a possible future.

the clouds abd the sea mist make for some spooky pictures. i will look for the green flash.
