well noticed greenthumb its comming in from the west..
we get most of our weather from the west. we can look out to see and watch the weather comming.....it can change so fast....

Dumb question, but where is all that sand coming from and why is it being depositated so heavily there?

the sea....
these are our sand dunes they are great to walk the dog on. we are in pembrokeshires national park. they do loads of work replanting the maram grass to help them defend thenselves fron the sea.

I know it comes from the sea. But where is the sea getting it from? Deposits from the sea floor or from river deposits up current.

i'm afraid i'm not that well informed Herb. but i'd guess the sea floor.
