Miniature Ginger Plant

These give out little red flowers. The plant grows short from the ground. Am not too sure what it's botanical name is.

I think it looks like a Heliconia species. I can't see the flowers very well.
I know there's many genera called "ginger". All plants are classified into families by flowers. If you can take a close up photo of the flowers I maybe able to identify the plant. : > )

No the variegated leaves on the side is the Devil's backbone (I hope I got it right), this is a miniature ginger plant that I will have to get it's proper name, I hope Delonix would know:-)
