I put an ivy geranium in and I'm not sure what else. I've thought of forcing tulips. Impatiens in the summer maybe. :-)

I'm thinking light rooters like this geranium and shade loving annuals could share here very well. The banana should stay deeper and just can't have any other tuber fighting it for space. This pot is huge! I might stand little statues or something for now so I don't get impatient and just throw somrthing in. :-)

I use to mix the plants, puting short ones under the big ones, but as I'm not an expertise ...sometimes i get worry it could be strangling the roots...
