Fat balls, Niger seeds, Mixed birdseed, Black Sunflower and Peanuts. This is immediately outside our front window. We get a terrific view of lots of birds. Unfortunately because it is so close the minute we get up and point the camera they whizz off.

I have that problem as well Magtree . I have one lot outside my kitchen window they are lovely to watch , it,s impossible to get outside without them hearing me , !

We just get out of our chairs Terratoonie and they're off! Yes, Amy you can't sneak up on a bird - they're far too sharp aren't they?

Can you try photographing with a zoom lens from further away ?
It must be great having the birds immediately outside the window. :o)
