Only like snow when its on photo's.

I agree - just as well we hardly ever have any here, as when we do, it's a National Holiday, cos the whole place completely loses the plot and there is total chaos .... !!

Who knows?! These were taken last year so not sure what to expect yet this year, though we do have a winter storm advisory for tonight and tomorrow. Unfortunately we have to go out tonight, my husband is reading at the Lessons and Carols service. At least there will be mince pies afterwards!

Still no snow here yet. At least not in the valley bottom. A couple of falls but they haven't stuck around.

You get very clean snow. Everything is perfectly pristine. Looks like a great winter scene there. Snow saves things from a cold day, its insulating for our growing friends. Gotta appreciate that. :-)

So true! I lose many more plants in the years that don't have a good insulating layer of snow.
