This is where we were last weekend. We were working, not on holiday, but it's great to be surrounded by beauty when working.

Is that a deer in the field? Looks like a doe and a fawn. The countryside looks very much like where I was raised here in Canada..

No it's not a deer Lori. I zoomed in and its dead foliage or shrubs sticking up out f the snow. You are so close though because we were driving along the road next to this field at night and a huge deer jumped across the road in front of us. The timing was perfect and we had a great view of it leaping but not so close that we hit it.

Well, well, just when I think my eyes are working ....haha! It is wonderful to behold the grace and speed of deer, but they become spooked by the sound of the approach of a car and run, frightened by the headlights, into the middle of the road... collisions have cost lives and cars over here, the poor animal pays with it's life of course. Worse still is the carnage of the moose. they are much larger animals than deer and they will stop a car that has been travelling over 60 kliks dead. ouch...horrible choice of words, but that's the end result.
