'Mrs Popple' is a hardy Fuchsia and she is still flowering madly, eevn though it's December!

Will this then die down till the spring, or does it stay evident above the ground?

I don't cut it back until the spring - then it shoots up again. It isn't like the small-flowered ones that stay green all winter.

Thank you.
I get confused about fuchsias.
Have you done a blog about your different types of fuchsia ?
I have one I bought at a dog show earlier this year.
It is perennial as far as I know but flower colour is pillar box red and smaller than blooms on above photo. Any information useful please. Thanks.:o)

No, TT. I haven't got as many as Hywel! You'll have to post a photo, as there are so many sorts!

so pretty.........this is a bleeding heart ..........or no

No, Bleeding Hearts are 'Dicentra' - this is a hardy Fuchsia. We've had our first heavy frost last night, so that will be the last of the flowers for this year. :-(

A good little doer, if you know what I mean, excellent value for money fuchsias, especially the hardy varieties, and not too labour intensive.
