Aloe Vera and Sanseveria Laurentii
Comments on this photo
Mark, Sanseveria Laurentii is a very, very forgiving and drought tolerant plant. When I purchased my house there was one left here and the house had been empty for several months but the plant was still alive and healthy even though it had not been watered for several months.

Interestingly, I've known people here to have used the sap of this Sanseeria Laurentii which is also known here as Mother In Laws Tongue as a remedy for ear-aches.

Just need to find out the growing details of these two now, before i kill them. (don't seem to be so lucky with houseplants as the plants in the greenhouse. They might be ok in the greenhouse when the temperature is turned up - or maybe they like the cool greenhouse?) I've heard of Aloe Vera before, but not the Sanseveria Laurentii.
I have been helping / working with someone i met at the flower show that works with "Forever Living Products" health products, which are made from Aloe Vera. I have been impressed so far with the products. I saw this plant in Dobbies the other day and curiosity got the better of me, so i got the Aloe Vera plant, and liked the look of the plant as well, so i thought, why not!
