i've made a few small baskets before but this is the first time ive tried a big one.
not perfect but i'm delighted.

Great basket! How long did it take you to make this? My grandfather makes lovely baskets from willow branches.

it took me days as i wasnt sure of what i was doing. but it was fun.

I was just going to ask the same question Tasteya asked. So what could you sell that sucker for? Less that 4.-- dlollars an hour? Much the same for me. I can make some great wood boxes, but it comes out to 3.00 an hour. Therefore I earn 14.-- pushing a lawnmower.
In the Pacific Northwest, Cherry bark is also used in such creations. Need I mention Native Americans making such baskets from willow, cedar and much more.
