It is, but it set on minimum, it very rarely comes on, as and when i need to turn it on i will ofcourse move my lovely plant. it does seem to be doing very well in this possition.

Thanks Celandine, i think it enjoys the dappled shade, seems to have projuce far more flowers since i moved it from the kitchen.

Funny, that, Angie, I just posted a photo of a plant going great guns in a lighter place - moved out of my kitchen. Too hot do you think?
