I repotted in fall to this pot and whoa, has it been growing! I'm want to cut it back, but I've a problem throwing out the cuttings, and really shouldn't make more, I'll run myself out of the house!

They tolerate dry and would probably ship to you well Gilli. After the holidays when we can trust the post a little more. Probably a few days. We'll talk. :-) I've posted its flower under this plant in my garden if you'd like to check it out.

That would be wonderful GT. They really are lovely plants. I had one a few years back but it didn't enjoy the process when I moved to Kamloops. I think it got a little cold on the journey. It never recovered. I had a goldfish plant too and the same thing happened to it. :o(

These plant are pretty tropical. The goldfish and lipstick plants will not tolerate temperature below freezing without dying. They both like quite a bit of sun...or they become leggy. I grow both of these plants outside in my backyard. They become quite compact and bloom well with a couple of hours of full sun.

GT, do you grow most of your plants indoors or just bring them in during the winter?

I've an indoor and outdoor garden, GG. Anything that goes out is usually taken as cuttings from the indoor plants in march and go out to be sacrificed in the fall. I might move some out this summer, but usually the adjustment out takes half my short summer. They are happier staying put. Outdoor are more bulbs bushes perrenials and annuals. Sadly everything indoors suffers a little when I get caught up in the heat of summer growing season.
