This one is not very hardy spritz. Mine is under fleece having lost its predecessor the previous winter

I know - the other one has the protection of the house wall. I shall have to fleece this one if the weather stays as cold.

Is weather particularly bad for you this winter Spritz? Lovely frosty photos but shame about damage to plants isn't it?

No, Gwenda - Saturday night was very cold as you will have seen on my blog, but last night we started off with a frost but it went by morning. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for that Andrew, i bought one of these this year too, and did'nt know, it did say that it was fully hardy on the label, but it's new in so don't think i will risk it, best get the fleece out then.

Supposed to be hardy to -5C but a young plant will not be as tolerant to cold as an established one. Mine has been under fleece for about three weeks now
