One of the seven lakes, created by volcano's on the Island of Flores. Flores is in the Azores, which are part of the Archipelego in the Atlantic Ocean, as far West as one can go before you are heading east! A tiny little island...Flores means flowers, and the island is filled with them.

I did, TT...You cannot possibly take a bad picture of the lakes area. Actually the whole Island is spectacular. Very pristine and untouched. There's only about 4,000 people living in about 3 little villages. Quiet amazing place. I look at this picture and I cannot believe I was there...it looked just like that! Like a postcard...

M. Interesting about the Flores Island in Indonesia...these lakes also are different colors, one of them being the black lake. I was very interested in the Indonesian islands, because when I was researching Flores PT, the Indonesian islands kept coming up! It was a spectacular moment in time for me, but like with anything, the people I was with were more of a challenge than the place itself! A long story for sure....lol.....
