Yes it is Christmassy Jacque I think I should decorate it for the birds...what do you think? ...and Janey you could sit under the snow covered Christmas tree...but you'd soon want to come in to some hot chocolate or warm cider...it's very nippy out there! I was thinking of just that Arlene...but where? best I can think of is the lower mainland in BC...so far from relatives and the children, and they are having a very cold snowy start to their winter...roses usually blooming by Feb. however. Oh Hywel, sometimes I wonder myself...Canadians are high energy consumers...and for one very good reason...our climate!! Yes, Flcrazy, I'm almost certain that we will not be traveling Christmas day as the weather report is anything but encouraging... temps are going to rise above freezing but we are still getting precip..so you know what that means? ICE! Do you have any snow yet?

The tree couldn't be any more perfect.

Thanks Mike...it has recovered pretty well...I had trouble two years in a row with the terminal bud. it seemed to die from within...so both times I nipped it and trained a secondary...then the terminal bud on the secondary died!! They say third time's a charm...thankfully it worked...and the tree doesn't look like it had a problem at all. Sometimes I have good luck!! It's just getting started...and I was toying with the idea of taking it with me!..lol. nahh!

Luckily we have missed all the snow so far Lori. But the weather has been anything but normal...lol. Friday we had a high of 70 degrees F, and last night our low was 13 degrees with a high of 34. What a difference a few days make....good grief.., I just can't adjust to the temp changes that quickly. I thought I was going to need to put on shorts Friday ,before I broke out into a sweat while sweeping off the deck, and today I've been freezing to death.......HELP ME, ...Make the cold go away, PLEEEASE....!!!!. LOL

Oh My Goodness! I sure wish I had the power to make it all go away!! I'd do it...I used to like winter when I skied and when you knew what to expect, these days it's scarey how fast the weather changes...and the swings are too severe... We are supposed to be above the freezing mark on the day...then back down into the extreme negatories... Ouch...enough already! Whatever next? I'm tired of the WWF, no not the world wrestling federation, but the Wonky Weather Factor!!!
