Most of the buildings on Parliament Hill are constructed of Quebec sandstone...it's a wonderful colour..and most of the roofs are copper, hence the green verdigris colour.

Beautiful building. Reminds me of my visit to Cananda many years ago, to see my aunt and uncle.

I stayed there when I worked for the government! Mike and I got a great room at a cheap rate, lovely place.

I just love it...but it's sad that it's completely surrounded by city concrete...it really cries out for a landscape! "stone walls and four great towers...overlook a space of flowers..." could be Camelot! LOL...
