Yes Barbara, we just bought them but have not used them yet. The main highways are clear and you would have to be taking them off and on. Hopefully we are on the downside of this!

You do look a little socked in...with the clouds almost at treetop level! you are definitely in 4X country! What elevation are you at? you said at the base of the Cascades? do they allow studded tires in Wash. State?

Sorry Lori, late in answering you! Yes on the studded tires and the mountains at end of road elevation is 5,800 ft.
