This was a Christmas present.
Unfortunately it was subject to some lower temperatures than usual. Hopefully I can get it back into healthy growth.

Misting, I still say. I think it just dropped leaves. Branches that don't start sprouting, once it does start, just trim off, like pruning a miniature tree. I think it'll be fine. :-)

It is Sarraceniac, a gift from my mother. It was in good health but it had dropped lots of leaves since my mother bought it. I believe it is the change in temperature as it was housed in a conservatory, previously.
Hopefully it should settle down and be happy where it is. I have a couple of books on Bonsai, so I shall read up and see how things go.

It looks like a banyan grows on a rock !
Higher tempeture is the key or the leafs will keep on falling if you put too much water on it especially when the tempeture is low.
Take the unhealthy leafs away by hand to force the plant "dormancy". Moist the soil surface every other day. Take as much sunshine as possible.
New leafs will grow rapidly from early spring to autumn.
In Asia somebody even take all the leafs away.
Good luck

Is this bonsai T&T? I don't know the plant but it looks quite 'old' and is in a bonsai type pot.
