It has lost quite a few leaves.

I do hope it recovers! I do believe there are several members of GOY who grow bonsai. I'm sure you could get some advice on this particular one, see if anyone else has had the same experience..
Why not post it as a question????

I think ficus generally shocks easy. Keeping it moist and misting will probably bring it back. I force winter on some plants by putting in a cool place, could just be wintering a little as well. Moisture seems most likely due to this guys size. Bonsai like a trickle every day.

Fingers crossed, Mike.
Spritz he is getting plenty of love and attention, straight from a couple of books. I have a couple of young Bonsai, but they are out doors Oak, Willow and Sycamore. Indoor bonsai are not something I would usually buy myself due to the attention they need, but It has been bought as a gift so I shall give him a go.
Greenthumb, this is what the books are saying also since he is shop bought I shall be re potting him shortly, into some fresh bonsai soil.

I was told that these ficus loose leaves if there location is moved but when it readjust to the new location the leaves come back. I like the pot and it's color that it's in.
