"Sharifa Asma"

This is an Austin rose with the purest rose scent you can possibly imagine. In my garden, the plants themselves are not very strong, but the blooms they produce are of incredible delicacy and fragrance. The name - calling to my mind the image of policeman with an allergy - belies the fairytale quality of the flower. Lasts very well in the vase.

Lovely photo Lily. My Sharifa is not as deep a pink as this, even in the cooler spring. It does smell awesome. :o)
