"Cloud Nine"

This lovely daffodil represents one of the few "plans" in my garden which actually succeeded. I filled a bed with these and light blue grape hyacinths, all along the fence. When I sit in my chair, I view the bed "vertically" (not horizontally), which enhances the effect I wanted. It really is very pretty. Individually the blooms make a development from all yellow upon opening to a light lemon yellow with a cream colored center and tips at maturity.

Very pale coloring but I love its appeal....would definitely be nice having this staring back at me...
