every corner has a different theme a different colour etc...Have you ever caught anyone pinching?

My coworker who retired 3 yrs prior to me now works at three major chains as a under cover store security. One day my wife and I were in one of the stores he protects. I think it was Shoppers and he came up to me outside the store but in the hall of the mall and slapped his hand on my shoulder and said come with me you have not paid for that....I turned around and saw it was Jerry. I could have nicked him for that even though I was innocent I was four or five shades of red. I said did you not just blow your cover? he said how else am I going to haul the crooks back to the store?

Maybe I should be a narc or whatever?

I don't think you'd make a good shoplifter!
Yes, the odd time things get taken but it's pretty rare. If somone is acting odd I usually stay closer to them to keep an eye on them
