The mountain is called the "Saentis", and it stands rather alone, presiding over all of eastern Switzerland. It is located in the Appenzell area, if anyone is familiar with that. It is not part of the mountain chains one thinks of as "The Alps", it is its own thing...uh... Yeah, well... end of geology lesson for today. (help!) It boasts a state of the art weather station on its peak. It's not a fancy, trendy mountain. It's just a plain ol' mountain. I'm considering purchasing it... (I guess the Swiss might have something against that!) ;-)
