I preffer the sound of wooden ones like this.

I love them in the wind..... but had to put them round the side of the house as my neighbour said they kept him awake ...........

They are pretty clackity. I do like the sound, but it can be too much for some. I have a tiny steel one, just tinkles a little most of the time in a lee side draft. I don't like it going too much myself.
