Lovely colour. I shall have to look in our garden centre to see if we have this one here too.

It is quite a gorgeous salvia but there are so many more.

I visited Northcourt Gardens open garden on 29th Sept and I think I came across some salvias there. I have been trying to find this plant on the tinterweb, but can't seem to. I could only describe the seedheads as quite long and thin and the sides curled back to release the seeds inside.
Please can you tell me if the seedheads on a salvia curl up when you touch them and then release the seeds? I collected a few of these curl up seedheads and I have the seeds, but i don't know what the plant is, could it be salvia??

Salvias do not have seedheads, seeds are in the calyxs if they have formed. I hope that this helps:)
