Yes have read that they can be potted on, also that someone has had one flower whilst still connected. I,ve pruned back some other shoots where flowers have finished. The trouble with Orchids for me is where to put them,The cold weather has filled all my window sills as well as the greenhouse and I dare not open the tunnel where succulents have survived in the past. We registered minus 12 degrees.so am writing them off., but that's Gardening isn't it. I take it as a sharp rebuke from Mother Nature.who thinks we are trying to ignore the seasons, she sends us a Global Warning.

Yes, in the winter we do run out of indoor places to put plants.
My kitchen work-tops have flower pots all over the place.
A good thing I don't like cooking :o)
In my front garden the hebe is ignoring the seasons.
Flowering away in the snow. Most odd.
