I have here a lot of photos from Janice'farm .I go often for fresh vegs and eggs and say hi to Janice and his animals.she have horses and ponys and rabbits,and more
she has a lot of flowers too and I bought from there a splendid dark red scenting rose

the farm is at 12 mi from selby,near Holme upon Spalding Moors

We used to travel through Home on Spalding Moor when we were children Florar on the way to Scarborough for our summer hols....I remember the church on the hill and the pub on the corner where we would have orange squash which in the late 1950s was a great treat!!

indeed,if I travel from home to the north sea side ... so interesting .it is a small world after all..may be I will see you one day...

We used to go through this area too on our way to Scarborough where my Grandparents lived. This would have been in the '60's. I remember the Church on the hill but not the pub.

Pub still there called The Feathers I think often travel this way through Holme on Spalding Moor love that little village just outside called The Land of Nod .

Yes and is there a sign for Giggleswick too....we always laughed at that!

Such a sweet Great Dane....These are one of my favorite breeds...lovely personalities...had one when my oldest child was a toddler...she used to be able to hold onto his tail and he would pull her up little hills...LOL..and then rest leaning under his chin between his front paws using him like a chair...LOL...His name was Duke...
