ET flower :-)

What conditions do these orchids enjoy? I believe they are warm and humid lovers - is that right? Good luck with it!

I only have Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium and Cymbidiums - I'd love to branch out to different species, but couldn't provide what they need, sadly. :-(

I believe they need light, but not really strong one and certainly no exposure to sunlight. They also need plenty of water (in orchid terms speaking) Something like 2 to 3 times a week, which is a lot for an orchid. Definitely no soaking in water, though. Just giving water from above taking care not to leave water where leaves come together, otherwise the palnt could rot really fast, sometimes as fast as overnight by cold temperatures. I think these one is a warm growing paph. There are warm growing and cool growing ones, i've read.

This one is beautiful, I like the shade. Paph. is one of the orchids I've had longest. I've two, just happy as can be. I don't water much at all though it is in another container bottomed with gravel. Every week or two. It likes the cool in my cabin more than any others (65F 14C). Lots of indirect light. There is a native one here in Alaska I've got a pic of. Absolutely beautiful. I enjoy it most so far.
