This is back of garden. Bark chips are down at the moment. I have some kind of shrub and trees there, not sure what. Can get a bit shady due to tree, but does get a good light.
Any suggestions what other plants, shrubs to go there?

A good tip is to visit your local Garden Centre every month and buy a plant in flower that takes your fancy. Then you will always have something in bloom. Plant in odd numbers if you have space. I know it's more expensive, but it's worth it to get away from the 'bitty' look.

If it's a bit shady you might want to try a hydrangea in there.

Plan for some low plants to spill over the paving (and take the label off the plant!! My pet hate!! You wouldn't wear a new dress and leave the label showing!) Start a file and write all the plant names in it with a little map of where it is in the garden. Keep magazine cuttings of photos that you like so you can buy the plant combinations they have used. I bet you can't wait for Spring!
