The 'allotment'

I call this my allotment. This was my 1st attempt with veggies and highly successful too!

Yes, we call this what we call our allotment. It's raised up, made of a few spare decking boards. Makes a fab veggie plot and prevents our darling pussy cats from using it as a WC! If you check ot one of my other pix, you'll see I used string criss-crossed over the top whilst the seeds were establishing themselves, again, to prevent the cats from......it worked! Top tip for all cat lovers, it's safe for the cats and protects the plants. Being raised up prevents backache too! We've moved it further into the garden now (and boy was it heavy), nothing in it at the moment - was planning on geting some seeds in this weekend but just seen the weather forecast....yes, you've guessed, it's pants again! Might dash out there between freezing showers and see what I can do though - I won't let a bit of rain put me off!
