the same comments slugs and snails make too..but I do eiter drink them to death with beer or just hand pick them...I will try pine needles this year..but can't be asked to fight lost war..it's only the small ghostly white ones that do the damage..and snails-> I might make a meal out of them..aparentely you pick them and once in a jar you give them herbs to eat to flush out gunk..and then starve them...will see if I have a heart to do that...
