I took all the Cyclamen out to cheer the porch up - there are two chimnies there.

Easily - none of mine have bottoms. I found plant pots just the right size so that the rim fits the edge of the chimney, then I plant up the pot and pop it into the chimney. I am even organised enough to have two pots per chimney, so that one can be planted up ready to swap them at the end of the season!
My taller chimney is in the corner of the porch behind the small one so that it can't fall over.

mmmm that's a good idea, would proberly take a bit of drout too, maybe a combo of the two, ivy with grass could look quite good...i might just put that on the mission list...it's getting rather long...

A mission list sounds more serious than a wish-list! I think my plan for the 'big space' is one of those, now. I shall be dashing from GC to GC in the spring, seeking out pots of the right plants! To boldly go where no woman has been before! (well, I have, really, it just sounded good) lol.
