This Ipe tree is blooming even with leaves...generally they go deciduous before blooming. Pic taken on a hot San Diego Winter's Day in Balboa Park. Jan. 17, 2009.

I'm glad you all like this photo...however, it is very difficult to capture the true
bright pink color of this tree. None of the photos I've ever taken have ever done justice to the true bright pink flower color of this tree.

Do these trees grow where you live?
I know these trees are widely grown in Hawaii and Southern Florida.
I would think they would love your climate and bloom well during the dry season.
