Thanks Wohibuli...was hoping you would post a photo after commenting on blog.So once the fruit is eaten the gourd doubles as a feeder...fabulous..re cycling at its best !!

The Martins tend to use them when you hang them up by the group near a field for them to track insects over, but lots of different birds will use them if you get the hole sizes right!

I like your bird house :) I grew these before, for making boxes and decorating. Recently, I collected lots of maple leaves and pressed them and plan on making a gourd box covered with maple leaves. I'll post it when it's completed :)
