Yes, the wall gives it a little bit of shade that foxgloves seem to like. The garden is south facing and can get very hot.

Looks Fab Paul, were having a wall built round our front garden and im thinking about what flowers to plant, Foxglove's arent the sort of flower i go for but you have changed my mind.. Saving this to my Favourite's...

Oh good, it's nice to think somethings in our own gardens can inspire others. Goodness knows, I've borrowed plenty of ideas I've seen in gardens and magazines etc. I think this particular Foxglove seems to be a little shorter than some I've grown so it doesn't stand up too far above the wall.
