Yes it is. The first year I only had one or two flowers, but now I get load. This year one plant was so tall and heavy it actually fell off the shelf and into the pond.

Thanx. I've had to put it in a new pot this year as it broke out of the last one. It's in the biggest pond pot i can get now, so if it grows any more I don't know what i'll do. Probably make the pond bigger and have natural planting on the edges instead of pots on the shelves. That will be another job for my husband and sons. LOL.

Oh you are fortunate... a bidable husband AND sons!! I've heard that these iris are invasive if given optimum conditions! You were wise to put it in a pot...I put mine into the little bed in front of my pond along with Tradescantia "Kate" and Iris pallida... should be interesting to see who takes precedence over whom...? lol....
