Yes it's the leaves that can really smell! It is considered an invasive environmental weed as it pops up very easily. You can't eat the fruit either because it is harmful - makes you very very sick or so I've been told (having never tried to eat them!)

Excellent close-up ! So very different from our passionfruit, it's so lacy and delicate looking !
