It deserves the label - 'powder-puff pink'! Very delicate!

It's a pentas I'm about to plant in the downstairs garden bed which has been a disaster area for a long time now - it's this month's project and I've been looking for pentas as I just love their variations and I think they will do well in that garden bed - they also attract butterflies which I'm looking forward too!

Thanks for the extra information.
Good luck with turning your 'disaster area' into a pretty flower bed.
Nice that the Pentas are not only beautiful, but attract the butterflies.
Let's hope. later on, you'll get the chance to photograph butterflies on your Pentas. :o)

Yes, I really like this.
Says on the internet Penta cannot stand even the slightest frost, so not for growing outdoors in England ! :o(
I've put the photo on my favourites.
Thanks, Bernieh for sharing this picture with us on GoY. :o)

Thanks everyone. I'm a bit of a Pentas lover and am trying to build up a collection of the colours.

I grew these for the first time this year and was impressed how long they flowered for. Made a really nice display.

What else?
See who else is growing Pentas lanceolata.
See who else has plants in genus Pentas.
