privett hedge

Hi. This is interesting. Looks as if it's planned to have something particular inside this area. Hidden maybe? Can I be a nosey parker and ask what?!
If you don't reply, I'll assume it's very hush-hush.

can't make our minds up, so we have left it as is, the hedge is nearly 3feet high and filling in nicely.this front area is north facing , the old stone (bottom right) was put there to protect the hedge from delivery van man!

Would it make a good wheelibin snug area?

still intrigued though - what is the space to be used for and why u originally planned hedge here? Is it to make entrance to your house a little more private maybe?

originaly there was an old block wall along this line, but it had subsided , so i knocked it down , dug out the footings and thought about a replacement.
to rebuild an old style wall from reclaimed bricks would have cost a lot of money/time , and i was worried that a delivery lorry would bash into it and 'do a runner' . so a hedge was the cheap solution to mark our front boundry.this area is north facing , so i cannot grow much in there , and until the hedge has become established , and i can see what space is left , the decision was to leave it empty.but something will go into this small space , maybe an ornamental object as opposed to a plant/shrub , any suggestions ??...........................steve
